Istanbul Golden City Hotel, Istanbul

The hotel has small rooms that may not be suitable for more than 2 people, but they are very clean, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the rooms are tiny, not like what is shown on the website. The setting is to the lowest temperature.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and cozy, but there were some issues like trash not being taken out before my check-in. However, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially Ali, the front office manager. The location was convenient, near public transportation lines and key landmarks. The dining options were good, with delicious and varied dishes, although they remained almost the same during my stay. The facilities were satisfactory, and there were some nice views from the top floor restaurant.

I had the best view of the waterfront, bridges, Blue Mosque, etc. , from my room on the 7th floor. The hotel is conveniently located near everything. The rooms, although small, offer incredible views over Istanbul.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. On one hand, I had the best view of the waterfront, bridges, and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul from my room, which was fantastic. On the other hand, dealing with a noisy child at night and not being able to secure my room was a bit frustrating.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is superb, with a stunning view of the river and bridges from the high floors, and the sight of Sultanahamet from the restaurant terrace on the 7th floor and higher. The service was top-notch, responding in seconds to any request, especially with the high demand for taxis in Istanbul. The location is fabulous, near the metro station and within walking distance of most major tourist areas. However, the dining experience was a bit weak, despite the amazing view from the rooftop. The facilities were impressive, offering everything one could need for a comfortable stay.
